Once upon a time, a young Book Worm fell in love with the Boy Next Door.
Their love began at a college in Michigan, where the Book Worm, who was an English major, devoured book after book and loved studying her favorite novels. The Boy Next Door studied business and graphic design and together the two of them made quite the dynamic, creative team. Their love was much like your typical love story filled with passion, trials and tribulations, and true love. The couple had three children together, all named after literary characters, and are molding the next generation of book lovers.
The Book Worm and The Boy Next Door both knew they had to use their creative ideas and build something with them.
They began Fables & Tales Co. as a way to share their love of books and design with the world. Their oldest daughter, Briony Sawyer, already has shared many ideas for the company and loves being involved every step of the way. The other two, Thatcher Allyn and River Finn, make great product models and inspire inspiration daily! It truly has become a family business.
